Is there a lock-in contract?+
No. All plans are month-to-month with no lock-in. Annual billing is available at a 17% discount, but you can cancel at any time with 30 days notice.
What counts as a "site"?+
A site is a single building or property address. Each site has its own asset register, PPM planner, contractor directory, and reporting. Strata complexes with shared services typically count as one site.
Can I start with one site and add more later?+
Absolutely. Start with a Standard plan for one site and upgrade to Professional or Enterprise whenever you're ready. Your existing data carries across seamlessly.
Is my data stored securely?+
Yes. Sign-in is handled by encrypted authentication hosted in Australia. Site documents you upload are stored in a private, access-controlled bucket that only you can access. Your site registers are saved to your account and synced to Australian-hosted cloud storage, so they are available whenever you sign in, on any device. You can export your data to PDF, Excel, or CSV at any time, and your data remains yours.
Do I need any technical knowledge?+
None at all. Standara is designed for facility and property managers who already know the job and just need the right structure around it. If you can use a spreadsheet, you can use Standara, and our guided setup walks you through creating your first site in minutes.
What Australian Standards are covered?+
Standara maps maintenance tasks to the relevant AS/NZS standards across all major building disciplines including fire safety, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, vertical transport, and more. Standards references are included by designation - full standard documents are available from Standards Australia.
